cool night, literally---its really nice weather in htown this week. Also, me and my bro were able to hang with a new cat that we work with . He is from England and is new to the area, thought that we'd show him where the goods are in the 'trose/heights-- We checked out this new fab film too:

ok, everyone this is a must see. Check out The U.S. vs. John Lennon. This is an incredible documentary of triumph and tragedy. It is actually pretty much every film clip of John Lennnon and Yoko's political lives.
I was educated tonight and my eyes were opened to who Lennon really was. I never knew his-tory, only his music. Everything makes a bit more sense now. If you want to know the truth about what it costs to stand up for peace and justice for mankind, let this film show you. It also really reminds us how history is repeating itself. I wish that our generation had a a voice like his.

Wowsers-- tonight I went o see the new Jet Li movie-Fearless- I was pretty impressed. I love Kung Fu movies. The moral of the story is always something to learn from , BUT the action, choreography, and cinematography are even better. I give this one 2 thumbs up! I know that this isn't a movie review blog but I thought that it would spark a good convo? Anywho, the main character is, of course, Jet Li...and he was tending to drink alot of Saki usually after his battles. So, I had to go get some after the show, and YES I had several rolls of sushi as well. Can u belive it, I like sushi for real yo!!! I dont know what happened to me. This blog is turning into something else lil by lil. I have been considereing eating less red meat, even chicken for that matter. I dont really wanna be a vegan or vegatarian, its just that I have been educated a bit about these slaughter houses and the way the animals that we are eating are treated so badly. its not like we need to respect the animals or treat them humanley. BUT I think that we should have respect for what has been given to us. I really think that God created animals for our pleasure--like why would He give us so many laws and particular ways to eat them, if we weren't allowed to use them for food. Its just that I dont know where the animals i purchase to eat come from--I dont know how they were raised, or how they were treated and it would take an enormous effort for me to get that info before i purchased and ate the thing. I am really confused about all of this.
so, back to kung fu, saki, and sushi--this is a great "date night" event, and a safer, healthier and more respectful way to eat.

Well, this is my first blog post. I have had this thing for a while, but have not had the time or desire to get started. I think that it will be something for me to utilize in order to overcome my tendency to be closed. I wanna speak my mind and not have FEAR to do so any longer.

So, I have been playing my guitar again. I used to play alot of praise/worship music--yes thats a genre i guess--and i got really tired of playing the same songs, especially other peoples songs, so i stopped. I need new songs. I wanna write better ones as well. So if any one has suggestions of new ones to jam on let me know. I have become very apathetic about things, even playing guitar! and its a sad thing. I am feeling the urge to stirke up a chord again though.
I think that worship music is really kind of boring...what do u say?
